The new PALAPA-D Satellite is located at 113° East Orbital slot, replacing PALAPA-C2. However PALAPA-C2 has been moved and operated to 150.5° East Orbital slot (above Papua area). At the new location PALAPA-C2 only operates 24 C-Band Transponders that cover Asean Beam and Asia Plus Beam.
